Zazie Olivia beetz was born on January 1, the 1st of January, 1991 Berlin. Her father was a German Cabinet Maker who came to live into America. United States following the fall of Berlin Wall. Beetz graduated from the same high school with Jennifer Aniston. Beetz went to Skidmore College to study French after completing LaGuardia. She started auditioning right after graduating and was offered the part in Atlanta. Beetz, born to an African American father as well as an African American father and a German mother from Berlin in Berlin was raised as an ethnically diverse New Yorker. Zazie was a stage performer in the community and on stage in New york since her childhood. Zazie discovered that she liked acting when she was in school. Zendaya landed her Disney Channel breakout role thanks to Zendaya's impressive dance abilities. Zendaya went vegetarian at age 11 when she walked past a slaughterhouse while on a road trip along with her father. Zendaya tells PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible to see all the animals getting packed up in there ready to be slaughtered. I was shocked to discover that's where I'd gotten my meat!" Since then, she's adhered on a plant-based, vegan diet.
